Food Service Management
The Food Service Management activity was conducted by the B.Sc. Nutrition and Dietetics third-year students under the School of Sciences. As part of this experiential learning initiative, students set up a canteen every Friday with a pre-decided menu, managing all aspects from menu planning, grocery purchase, cooking, serving, and financial management.This hands-on experience allowed students to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting, enhancing their skills in teamwork, nutrition planning, and food service operations while promoting healthy and hygienic eating practices on campus.
Shukrana Sangam
The Shukrana Sangam event was organized and performed by the B.Sc. second-year students and faculty of the School of Sciences in collaboration with PCU RAAHATT: Diet & Wellness Clinic.The session focused on Music Therapy for Mental Health, using soulful Bollywood songs and ghazals to promote relaxation, emotional release, and inner harmony. The melodious performances created a soothing atmosphere, highlighting the healing power of music in enhancing mental well-being and fostering a sense of connection among participants.
Shukrana Shukrwar
The Shukrana Shukrwar event was organized by B.Sc. third-year students of the School of Sciences in association with PCU RAAHATT: Diet & Wellness Clinic.The short yet meaningful session focused on expressing gratitude towards one special person in participants' lives. Through heartfelt messages and creative expressions, the event encouraged appreciation, positivity, and emotional well-being among students, fostering a spirit of thankfulness within the campus community.
BSc. Students Begin Field Project with Community Outreach
As part of the BSc. curriculum, our students kickstarted their Field Project (Community Engagement Program) with enthusiastic participation. BSc. Nutrition students visited Zilla Parishad School and Aanganwadi School in Bhahmanwadi, Vadegaon, while BSc. Clinical Psychology students engaged with residents at Vanprasthashram, Talegaon, and Parijnan Chaya Senior Citizen's Home, Karla.They conducted rapport-building activities, facilitated mindful mandala art therapy, and explored dance movement therapy, gaining valuable hands-on experience in applying their skills to real-world settings.
